Born in Moscow and raised in Stockholm, I currently live in central Milan, in the world's smallest studio apartment - that I share with my musician boyfriend, his three handmade guitars, and lots and lots of shoes, bags and magazines that are scattered around both my apartment and my mind.
At 19 I moved to Los Angeles to study theatre arts (fooling myself that I would become the new Julia Roberts). I still love cinema and musicals, but at 23 I made a career switch and studied fashion marketing at college in Florence, where I also fell in love with the other love of my life -Italy.
Now I work as a web editor for a fashion agency here in Milan, so I pretty much look at collections, write copy, and come up with editorial ideas all day. Needless to say, I am a total style-aholic: magazine-obsessed, Internet geek, window-shopper, you name it.
Other passions of mine include music (I live with a guitarist, after all), movies, reading, travelling (for now only in my dreams - my wallet is on a diet!) and every kind of dessert on the face of the Earth.
I have been a vegetarian since I was eleven, am anti-fur and volunteer as a blogger for dogs' shelters. To quote Grace Adler of Will&Grace, my biological clock is barking - I can't wait to get a puppy. Or a kitten. Or preferably, both. While other women bang on about diapers and strollers, I lust after leashes and chewtoys.
Sascha's Daily Drama was born as an Italian fashion blog at http://nellamiaborsa.style.it/ and evolved into an inspirational/personal, somewhat ironic style-infused diary. I write in English and Italian because most of my Swedish and international friends read and speak English, but I also have Italian readers that I want to continue blogging for.
I like to blog about things that inspire me, but also things that make me think! And oh yeah, I do like a good dose of irony!
