Cose che io adoro di questa foto:

* Il blu dell'abito di Kerry.

* Il sublime abbinamento del rossetto e le suole delle Louboutin di Zoe - ecco perchè la adoro.

* La vertiginosa, stupenda altezza delle scarpe.

* I capelli di Kate - invidia pura.

* Il taglio dello scollo dell'abito di Zoe - ecco come si fa scollatura profonda senza scadere nella volgarità.

* Le lunghezze mini - mi dispiace cari stilisti, ma non le abbandoneremo mai a favore delle maxi.

* Le gambe nude - non potrò mai, ripeto mai, copiare questa tendenza tutta newyorkese di dimenticare a casa le calze anche a febbraio, ma a volte ammiro il coraggio di chi lo fa.

Things I love about this picture:

* The regal blue of Kerry's dress.

* The divine matching of Zoe's lipstick to the soles of her Louboutins - this is so why adore her!

* The higher-than-high, larger-than-life heels.

* Kate's hair - pure envy.

* The cut of the neckline of Zoe's dress - this is how you do low-cut without even beginning to approach slutty.

* The mini lenghts - they're not going anywhere, dear designers. Sorry.

* The nude legs - I will never, I repeat, never, copy this New York trend of leaving the tights at home in February. Even so, I sometimes admire those who have the courage to do so.

Men's Fashion Week FW11 - Dsquared2

Io non capisco come mai quelle sfilate che a me piacciono di piú sono quelle che mi portano piú sfiga in assoluto. Questa é giá la seconda stagione che io non riesco a fare neanche UNA foto decente alla sfilata di Dsquared2, la mia preferita. E posso dire con tutta la convinzione che questa era l'unica sfilata di tutta la settimana della moda maschile dove i modelli erano piú che guardabili....

I don't know how come the fashion shows that I like the most are the ones that seem to bring me bad luck. This is the second season that I can't manage to take even ONE decent photo of my favorite fashion shows - Dsquared2. And believe me when I say that out of the entire men's fashion week, this was the only show with REALLY hot models...

Men's Fashion Week FW11 - D&G

Nonostante io sia molto grata per il fatto di fare un lavoro dove posso ogni tanto avere la fortuna di andare a vedere qualche sfilata, gradirei infinitamente la possibilitá di sapere in anticipo quando esattamente é che avanza un invito, in modo tale da potermi preparare, onde evitare dovermi recare alla fashion week indossando un vestitino di Zara trovato ai saldi e con la macchina fotografica scarica. Tuttavia sono abbastanza contenta di aver assistito al coloratissimo spettacolo di D&G di oggi pomeriggio:


Even if I am very grateful for the fact that I have a job where I sometimes have the possibility to see a live fashion show, I would be even more grateful if it was at all possible to know in advance when exactly I would be as lucky, so that I can prepare for the event and avoid showing up wearing a Zara dress bought in the sales and with the camera battery low. Even so, I am quite happy that I could catch the colorful and spirited D&G show this afternoon:
