Nonostante la mia idea che le cosíddette showgirl siano abbastanza inutili nella societá (questa é solo una mi opinione: evidentemente a qualcuno interessano) riconosco il loro potere come personaggi pubblici, quindi sono contenta quando una di loro decide di dedicarsi a una buona causa. Perció sono felice di condividere con voi la notizia che Elisabetta ha deciso di posare nuda per PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, famosi per la campagna I Would Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur degli anni 90) conto il commercio delle pellicce.
Io dico: bravo George. Hai proprio ottimo gusto e hai scelto bene. Una donna bella, con un cervello e con un cuore, non é la cosa piú facile da trovare.
I have a new respect for Elisabetta Canalis, the Italian model/TV presenter, famous for being the girlfriend of George Clooney.
Although I tend to get annoyed at the objectification of women in Italian television, and Elisabetta is a perfect example of that, I recognize these women's power as public figures, so I'm very happy when one of them decides to stand up for a good cause. So I couldn't be happier that Elisabetta has decided to pose naked for one of PETA's anti-fur campaigns.
All I have to say is: way to go, George. A beautiful woman with some brains and a heart sure isn't easy to find.
